DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES


The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project is a 23-mile extension of Washington DC existing Metrorail System. Revella Consulting Group (RCG) as a DBE subcontractor to Jacobs Engineering and performs on-going program management and technical support services including cost management, design & engineering support, and quality assurance.  Below is an overview of RCG's services on this Project:


  •  Performing and delivering Independent Third-Party Structural Reviews of construction and design documents for certification as required by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to ensure the designs are in conformance with all applicable Codes and Criteria.  


  • Coordinating with designers, reviewers and the Client to confirm accuracy and completeness of design documents, ensuring conformance with all project construction requirements.  


  • Coordinating the timely review of design documents (drawing, calculations and specifications) and submittals (shop drawings, certifications, etc.) with each engineering and design discipline (architectural, electrical, mechanical, civil and systems) to limit structural and MEP issues.  


  • Maintaining the Project Cost Management System (PRISM) and providing Quantity Control/Survey Oversight, preparing the Detailed Actual Payments (DAP) report, and recording all budget and actual cost changes.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE OF REGIONAL BUS AND RAIL SYSTEMS

METROPOLITAN AREA TRANSIT GENERAL ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING CONTRACT - FACILITIES PROJECTS

RCG is a DBE subcontractor to the Gannett Fleming/Parsons Joint Venture (GFP) and provides the following services: 


  • Inspection Services to ensure contractor compliance with WMATA construction plans, specifications codes and safety regulations on projects for Metro Bus (MATOC/Infrastructure Renewal Program). 


  • Comprehensive project management oversight support in meeting WMATA’s requirements, with design and review services to support the ongoing facilities maintenance program and capital improvement program.  


  • Cost estimating, project control functions, special complex engineering/architectural studies, and engineering and architectural support for recovery from emergency conditions. 


  • Design and construction management support for new capital rail construction and bus system facilities, including joint development projects, adjacent construction related projects, and project and technology development projects. 


  • Development and implementation of Public Outreach programs including performing and managing Metro’s Performing Arts program, the recurring visual arts program at Metro stations, and other WMATA public outreach events as needed. Other programs include: SummerSet (in collaboration with the office of Congresswoman Norton, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the National Park Service); MetroPerforms!; and Metro at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE OF REGIONAL BUS AND RAIL SYSTEMS

METROPOLITAN AREA TRANSIT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONTRACT - CAPITAL PROJECTS

 RCG is a DBE subcontractor to Gannett Fleming and Parsons and provides the following services:  

  • Program Management: Scope development, project delivery analysis of limited work windows, cost and budget management, cost estimating, cost and resource loaded P6 schedule management, earn value management, risk management, communication plans, change management, document control management, quality, environmental management, and program and project management system integration. 
  • Construction Management: Administration and support of capital construction projects, including rail and traction power systems construction and upgrades, as well as construction/rehabilitation of WMATA facilities such as metro stations, bus/rail maintenance facilities, office facilities, warehouses, substations, and any other WMATA infrastructure. Additional support staff functions include claim analysis and inspection services. 
  • Engineering Services: Document management, business process development and configuration, capital financial analysis, performance analysis, animation and graphics, writing and development of engineering standards, and Quality Control programs.
